Cycling holidays with Pedal Ventures

This trip was well organised with support delivering baggage to the next hotel in timely manner. Dealing with Luke from Pedal Ventures was fuss free, thankyou Luke. The ride is described as a moderate ride; there were some tough climbs but the views were worth it. I've done some cycle touring in the UK but these mountains would have defeated me without the use of an electric which helped a lot. Distances are easily managed. Slovenia is a lovely country to visit and Bled a cracking town if a little expensive to eat out. That said, aside from Bled I found meals, wine etc to berelatively cheap. Plan you cycling times though as I failed to reach a restaurant for lunch at 2pm but there again the continental breakfasts were huge. If you do go ask to stop at the glamping site on days 3 and 4. Its absolutely stunning and for me set the accomodation standard both in terms of substance but also a welcoming service. One aspect worth considering is planning how to get back to Ljubliana airport. There is a transfer to Bled but you need to sort this out at the outset. I enjoyed it so much that I'm going to come back with my wife.

Spent a week cycling along the Danube with my wife, enjoying fantastic views and delicious food everywhere we stopped. They took care of our luggage and were always on hand if we needed help. Luke was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us pick a holiday that was well suited to us. Would happily book with Pedal Ventures again!
