What to Expect
This tour suits both experienced cyclists and active newcomers. Most of the route is flat or gently rolling, with a few short climbs. You'll ride on bike paths and quiet secondary roads, with the option to shorten several stages by train. Urban entry points, especially in Verona and Vicenza, may require extra attention due to traffic.

Cycle south through picturesque vineyards on the Adige River cycle path or detour via Lake Kaltern for hilltop views. Your day ends in Trento, home to Buonconsiglio Castle and Renaissance charm.
Optional: Shorten via train at Ora, Egna, Salorno, Mezzocorona, or Grumo-San Michele
Follow the Adige River to Rovereto, then climb briefly to Passo di San Giovanni before descending with stunning views to Lake Garda. From Riva del Garda, cruise the lake by ferry to Peschiera.

Leave Vicenza past the villas of Tiepolo and Palladio en route to the Euganean Hills. Relax in Italy’s premier thermal spa area nestled among rolling green hills.

Optional: Shorten via train from Terme Euganee-Abano-Montegrotto or Padua
Tour ends after breakfast. Extend your stay to explore Venice, easily reached by train or bus from Mestre.
We recommend flying to Verona Villafranca (VRN) or Venice Marco Polo (VCE) and returning from Venice Marco Polo (VCE).
